Lloyd Gordon Twyman

Lloyd Gordon Twyman, 76, Ewington, Ohio, passed away at his residence Sunday, March 1, 2003. He was a member of the Vinton Memorial Legion Post #161, the Teamsters Union #413, Gallia County Senior Citizens and attended the Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Lloyd was born March 13, 1926 in Ewington, son of the late Creed C. Twyman and Vesta Plummer Twyman.
He is survived by his former wife, Faye Sowards Miller, Carson City, Nevada; two sons, Donald and Keith Twyman, Sacramento, California; two step-grandchildren: John Miller, Reno, Nevada and Pat Melino, Carson City, Nevada; four step-great-grandchildren: Mark and Brad Miller, Reno, Nevada; Derek and Rebecia Melino, Carson City, Nevada; two brothers and one sister: Grady and George Twyman, Ewington, Ohio and Beatrice Cremeens, Vinton, Ohio.
He will be greatly missed by his family, church friends and those from American Legion Post #161.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Pastor Mike Puckett officiating. Burial will be in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call the funeral home on Wednesday, 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Vinton American Legion Post #161.
