Lola Iva (Roush) Bright

Lola Iva Bright, 96, Danville, Ohio passed away Monday September 6, 2010 in Pike Community Hospital, Waverly, Ohio. She was born August 5, 1914 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Martin Luther Devore Roush and Maggie Eleanor George Roush.
Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Worthy Bright June 17, 1992 and by three brothers and two sisters. Lola is survived by a cousin, Harvey McFarland, Danville, Ohio; two nieces, Jaunita McGovern, Ypsilante, Michigan and Leola Corry, Pomeroy, Ohio; several great nephews including her nephew and care giver, John Thomas Meadows, Marmet, West Virginia and sister-in-law, Helen Bright, Cape Canaveral, Florida.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, Trilachoochi, Florida and the Wesleyan Holiness Church, Danville where Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday September 10, 2010 with Pastor Brian Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery. Friends and family may call Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home in Vinton, Ohio.
