Lura (Russell) Gee

Lura Gee, 93, Jackson, passed away in Holzer Medical Center, Jackson, Tuesday, September 12, 2006. She was born March 15, 1913, daughter of the late Earnest and Bertha Russell. Lura attended the Pattonsville Church of God, Jackson, Ohio.
She married Robert Gee, April 13, 1932 in Gallipolis, and he preceded her in death March 31, 1983. Surviving are two sons: William and Virgil Gee, Jackson, Ohio; brothers and sisters: Norwood (Betty) Russell, Carroll, Ohio; Annabelle Jefferies and Leah (Bob) Jefferies, both of Toledo, Ohio; William (Ellen) Russell, Vernon (Janet) Russell, Paul (Mary) Russell, and Bertha Stover, all of Gallipolis, Ohio.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Noel Russell, Rev. N.L. Russell, Rev. Noble Russell, Nerol Russell; sisters, Leda McGlothins, Lena Cottrell, Rev. Loneva Russell, Leron Grate and Ernestine Edminston.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. A B. Maloy officiating. Burial will be in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM.
