Lynchia Elizabeth (Christian) Pratt

Lynchia Elizabeth Pratt, 94, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 in her residence. Born December 12, 1921 at Wayne, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Daniel and Rebecca (Francis) Christian. She married Charles Edward Pratt April 12, 1941 at Louisa, Kentucky, who preceded her in death. She loved traveling, camping and going to church as a member of New Beginning Revival Center.

Lynchia is survived by her children: Concie Pratt, Vinton, Ohio; Kenneth (Jean) Pratt, Bucyrus, Ohio; Vernon Pratt, Bidwell, Ohio; Ron (Laura) Pratt, Lake View, Ohio; Elizabeth (Jim) Stokes, Franklinton, Louisiana; Sandra Marcum, Bidwell, Ohio and Oliver (Ronnie) Pratt, Albany, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and very special friends, Dean and Linda Stover, Magnetic Springs, Ohio.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Lucy Christian, Katherine Canterbury, Jeanie Pelphry, Mae Christian, Ora Christian, Swanson Christian, David Christian, Joe Christian and Morgan Christian.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, September 8, 2016 in His Way Community Church, Main Street, Vinton with Rev. Alfred Havens officiating. Burial will follow in the Pendleton-Marcum Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may visit Wednesday 4:00-7:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.

Pallbearers will be: Dalton Matney, Danny Matney, Gage Burris, Tim Kemper, Chance Gillman and Chase Kemper.
