Lyvonnia Egin Amos Boggs, 89, of Middleport, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Rivers Health Hospital, Point Pleasant, West Virginia, due to complications from a fall in her home. Born December 18, 1934, in Cheshire, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Alva Pearl and Marie Huldiah (Scott) Amos. Lyvonnia graduated from Cheshire High School and was a lifelong resident of the community.
Lyvonnia is survived by two sons, Roger Atkins and Ronald Atkins, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Jennia Amos McNeal and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by grandson, Jeremy Atkins; brothers: Bruce a. Rogers, Alva Amos, Galen Amos, Luther Amos and sisters: Delores Amos, Lydia Chestnut, Mary Myers, Valada Barcus, Tracy Delozier, Oretha Rider and Maxine Harner.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Private Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
