Margaret Ellen (Jacks) Johnson

Margaret Ellen Jacks Johnson, 84, Langsville, Ohio passed away at her residence Tuesday July 28, 2020. She was born September 12, 1935 in Meigs County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Virgil and Doris Jordan Jacks. She was a member of Yahweh Christian Fellowship, Jackson, Ohio. Margaret married Chester Johnson August 9, 1952 and he preceded her in death April 30, 2017.

Margaret is survived by their children: Sheryl (Dannie) Lambert, Vinton, Ohio and Belinda (Tim) Lunsford, Langsville, Ohio; Stoney (Michelle) Johnson, Chester, Ohio and Rocky (Beth) Johnson, Langsville, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Marie Mozingo and Rachel (Micky) Hutton, both of Rutland, Ohio; Wanda (Bud) Thorpe, Manassas, Virginia; Doris Pooler, Taylorsville, Kentucky and brother, Mr. & Mrs. Tim Jacks, Columbus, Ohio.

In addition to her husband Chester, Margaret was preceded in death by infant daughter, Kathy Ellen Johnson; great-grandson, Colton Baird; granddaughter, Julia Johnson; sister, Virginia Kessinger and brother, Earl Jacks.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. Private funeral services will follow with Pastor Bud Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Cemetery. Facial coverings must be worn, and social distancing protocols will be observed.
