Margaret Katherine "Kathy" (Scott) Marcum

Margaret Katherine "Kathy" Marcum, 52, Langsville, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. She was born October 25, 1955 in Williamson, West Virginia, daughter of the late Sterl Scott and Queenie Willis Scott.
She married David Marcum on September 16, 1973 at Toler, Kentucky and he survives with three children: Jason Marcum, Langsville; Todd (Amy) Marcum, Vinton and Jessica (Michael) Oiler, Langsville; two grandchildren, Tyler and Hailey Marcum; three brothers and two sisters: Richard (Betty) Scott, Shelby, North Carolina; Roger (Kay) Scott, Ransom, Kentucky and Timmy (Jo) Scott, Blackberry, Kentucky; Sharon (Mike) Lucas, Williamson, West Virginia; and Angela Daniels, Williamson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bradley and a sister, Cindy Reed.
Kathy was a homemaker and her hobbies were cooking and crafts. She was a member of the Vinton Baptist Church where Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday with Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating. Friends may call at the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 SR 160, Tuesday 6:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday at the Rogers Funeral Home in Belfry, Kentucky after 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Rogers Funeral Home Thursday, 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Alley Cemetery near Ransom, Kentucky.
