Marilyn Joyce (Miller) Shaner

Marilyn Joyce Shaner, 92, Middleport, Ohio passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 in the Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, Ohio. Marilyn was born March 13, 1928 in Pasadena, California, daughter of the late Donald and Louise (nee Arnett) Miller. She married Robert T. Shaner August 29, 1946 in Pasadena, California and he precedes her in death. She was employed as a school librarian, spent her time being her husband's caregiver and was an avid artist.

She leaves behind her children: Stephen and Linda Shaner and their children: Jonathan Shaner, Marc Shaner, Terri Silva and Jennifer Castelleto; Beth and Ward Moore and their children: Abram Moore and Anna McGill; Melanie and David Lawrence and son, Matthew Lawrence and a sister, Donna (Dwayne) Krumme.

In accordance with her wishes, no services are to be held.  Cremation service is under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Shaner Family.
