Marilyn Lucille (Stover) Griffith

Marilyn Lucille Griffith, 86, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, in Arbors of Gallipolis. Marilyn was born September 7, 1937, in Putnam County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Leona (DeVore) Stover. She attended Garden of My Heart Holy Tabernacle Church, Bidwell, Ohio. Marilyn married Robert Griffith September 14, 2002, and he preceded her in death July 14, 2020.

Left behind to cherish her memory are nieces Carol (Jim Miller) Stover, Gallipolis, Ohio and Margaret (Charles) Schoolcraft, Salem Center, Ohio; great-nieces and nephews: Jonathan (Courtney) McCarty, Vicki Cacciatore, Randall (Virginia) Kiser, Jessica (Joseph) Lynn and Tiffani (Richard Michael) Schoolcraft as well as several great-great nieces and nephews, and several other extended family members.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was preceded by brothers Alfred, Elden, Richard and Marvin Stover and sister, Alma Shaffer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Jonathan Eyler officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 12:00-1:00 PM service time.
