Marion Robert Plantz

Marion Robert Plantz, 74, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away in his home Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Robert was born December 29, 1947 in Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia, son of the late Jesse Alan and Frances Luella (Bush) Plantz. A retired Machine Operator, he was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, a recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.

He leaves behind his sisters, Anna (James) Combs, Ravenswood, West Virginia and Barbara Moser, Dunbar, West Virginia and a brother, William Plantz, Batesburg, South Carolina as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jesse and Benjamin Plantz and sister, Linda Swanson.

In accordance with his wishes, there are no services to be held. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio.
