Marjorie D. "Margie" (Groff) Marcum

Marjorie D. "Margie" Marcum, 66, Vinton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 29, 2016 in Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. The daughter of Lucille (Hartley) Groff, Columbus, Ohio and the late James Robert Groff, she was born August 13, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio. Margie attended Glenroy Freewill Baptist Church. She married Hollie Marcum December 22, 1996, who survives.
Margie is survived by a son, Keith Daniel Harmon and grandson, Austin Keith Harmon, both of Martin County, Kentucky; stepchildren: Hollie D. (Janette) Marcum, Ann (Mike) Perry and Johnny (Frankie) Marcum, all of Bidwell, Ohio; nine step grandchildren and seventeen step great grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Ken) Havely and brother, Allen (Kay) Groff, both of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and Danny Groff.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the His Way Community Church, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Eric Jenkins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pendleton-Marcum Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the church Monday Noon-2:00 PM.
