Marrel Gloan Dixon Jr.

Marrel Gloan Dixon, Jr., 64, Vinton Ohio passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at his home. He was born November 18, 1957 in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Marrell Gloan Dixon Sr., and his mother Sarah Marcum Israel who survives. He was a lifelong truck driver.

Marrel is survived by his children, Jason (Maria) Dixon,  Karen Dixon, both of Columbus, Ohio and Joshua Dixon, Jackson, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, James (Tina) Dixon, Vinton, Ohio; sister, Rhonda (Donald) Fouts, Grove City, Ohio and several aunts, uncles and extended family.

In addition to his father, Marrel was preceded in death by grandson, Princeton Dixon; granddaughter, Madison Dixon, brothers, Larry Angles and Danny Angles and sister, Karen Dixon.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating. Burial will follow at Pendleton Marcum Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call on the family at the funeral home Monday at 11:00 AM to the time of service.
