Martha Carolyn (Ball) Newman

Martha Carolyn Newman, 69, Oak Hill, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Jackson, Ohio. The daughter of the late Theodore and Nevada (Turner) Ball, she was born April 28, 1951 in Oak Hill, Ohio. She was a member of Penial Baptist Church, Gallia, Ohio.

She leaves behind her children: Derek Newman, Noble County, Ohio; Dwain Newman and Lisa Newman, both of Oak Hill, Ohio; grandchildren: Dustin (Chasity) Newman and Tiffany (Bill) King, both of Oak Hill and Mara Newman, Peebles, Ohio; five great-grandchildren and sister, Ellen Layne, Gallipolis, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Newman; daughter, Susan Newman and brothers, Harold Cartwright, Raymond Cartwright, Charles Cartwright and Teddy Ball.

Private Memorial services will be announced at the convenience of the family. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Newman Family.
