Mary Jane (Johnson) Mcguire

Mary Jane McGuire, 59, Bidwell, Ohio (formerly of Ewington) passed away Monday July 20, 2015 after an extended illness. She was born November 21, 1955 at Gallipolis, daughter of the late Cecil Henry and Helen (Chapman) Johnson. She retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center following 23 years of service as a Licensed Practical Nurse and attended the Ewington Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Lorraina McGuire McGinness of Bidwell; three grandchildren: Shanleigh, Killian and C. Maddox McGinness; two brothers: Silas (Joanne) Johnson, Bidwell and Jerry Johnson, Galion, Ohio and two sisters: Avonell (Kenneth) Dunn, Ewington, Ohio and Florine Madden, Isom, Kentucky; best friend, Trina Clark, Ewington as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck McGuire, two brothers, Chandious and Willis Johnson and a sister, Bernice Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2015 in the His Way Community Church (former Vinton Baptist Church), Main Street, Vinton with Pastor Dave Greer, officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church 11:00 AM until the time of service Friday. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve the McGuire Family.
