Maxine (Bryant) Bailey

Maxine Bailey, 85, Wilkesville Community, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at her residence. She was born September 19, 1927 in Chapmanville, West Virginia, daughter of the late Benjamin and Brooke Butcher Bryant.
Maxine is survived by six sons: Wilbert Jr., New Lexington, Ohio; Gregory (Kristine), Wilkesville, Ohio; Phillip, Wilkesville, Ohio; Jack (Jody), Hollywood, Maryland; Brian (Amy), Wilkesville, Ohio and Bradley (Jenny), Wilkesville, Ohio and daughter, Barbara (Fred) Taylor, Wilkesville, Ohio.
Mrs. Bailey will be missed by fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Maxine was preceded in death by the loving father of her children, Wilbert Bailey Sr.; three sons: Michael Ray, David and Ronald Bailey. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Lewis Butcher, John and Thomas Bryant and three sisters: Violet Jerrell, Addie White and Lovaline Bryant.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, April 6 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Curry Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service on Saturday.
