Melba Jean (Benson) Wyatt

Melba Jean Wyatt, 48, Vinton, Ohio passed away at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio Sunday, May 25, 2014. She was born October 19, 1965 in West Milton, Ohio, daughter of late Edward Benson and Katie Merle Phelps Benson. Melba was a self-employed hairdresser who was a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend. She attended several churches, was an avid Aerosmith fan and a former member of the Gallipolis Bass Busters.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil Wyatt, Vinton and two children: Jennifer (Rick) Fugate and Jamie (Stephanie) Wyatt, both of Dayton, Ohio; five grandchildren: Jacob, Lezley and Wesley Bocock and Nicky and Chloe Wyatt; one great-grandchild, Mackenzie Bocock; brother, Lenny (Lisa) Benson, Troy Ohio; two sisters: Cathy (Shorty) Schwartz and Karen Schimmel, both of Tipps City, Ohio.
Melba was preceded in death by brothers Gerald, Timmy and Gayle Benson.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no services. McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton is honored to serve the Wyatt Family.
