Melvin Roger Drummond

Roger Drummond, 64, Middleport and formerly of Gallia County passed away at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born September 18, 1956 in Gallipolis to the late Arthur Wilson Drummond and Dorothy Ethel Sexton Drummond.

Roger is survived by seven sisters and two brothers: Carolyn Ross, Gallipolis, Ohio; Mabel Copley, Thurman, Ohio; Suzy Williams, Gallipolis, Ohio; Lois O'Neil, Jackson, Ohio; Mary (Dan) Arthur, Gallipolis, Ohio; Judy (Chester) Ward, Vinton, Ohio; Bonnie (Lee) Taylor, Patriot, Ohio; Bill (Kathy) Drummond, Bidwell, Ohio and Tim (Jeannette) Drummond, Vinton, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie and Charlie Drummond; niece, Mary Ann Ross and nephew, Paul Ross.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Prospect Baptist Church, Bidwell with Pastor Ed Mollohan officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Church Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Church Thursday from 11:00 AM till the service hour of 12:00 PM.
