Michael Scott Stowers

Michael Scott Stowers, 62, of Gallipolis, Ohio died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, Ohio. Michael was born April 13, 1963, in Huntington, West Virginia, son of Shirley and Roy Conway, Titusville, Florida the late Edward L. and Marianna Stowers. An avid Notre Dame Fan, he loved all sports and enjoyed coaching youth leagues. He was a member of United Auto Workers Union and Gallipolis Elks Lodge #107.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Brooke (Wade) Caldwell, Gallipolis, Ohio and grandchildren: Brant Caldwell and Gabe Caldwell; sisters, Teresa (Mike) Funk, London, Ohio and Kelly (Barry) Peters, Georgetown, Indiana; nephews, Chris Peters and Kyle Peters, Georgetown, Indiana; aunts: Jane Craddock, Barboursville, West Virginia; Carolyn (Bill) Bradley, Gatesville, Texas and Charlotte (Gene) Young as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

In accordance with his wishes, no services are to be held. Cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio, who is honored to serve the Stowers Family.
