Milton Daniel Newman, 68, Vinton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1949 at Gallipolis, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Polly Parthena (O'Hara) Newman. He worked as an Assistant Foreman for CSX Railroad from 1975 to his retirement in 2010.
He is survived by three children: Ashley (Sam) Griner, Lady Lake, Florida; Shelley Brown, Lady Lake, Florida and Hank (Rochelle) Newman, Orlando, Florida; grandchildren: Ashten (Kaleigh) Griner; Sawyer Griner; Benjamin Griner; Samuel Griner; Dalton Rich; Dustin Rich; Amber Brown and Conner Newman; great-grandchildren: Penelope Griner and Jazmyne Brown and special friend and life partner, Angie Randolph.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sisters: Jack Maynard, Shirley Gilliam, Jean Connyers and Sissy Newman.
Friends and family may call 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2017 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow.
