Minnie Marjorie (Swick) Mclaughlin

Minnie Marjorie McLaughlin, 91, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on November 3, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 28, 1917 in Meigs County, Ohio, daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Barrett Swick. She was a retired Psychiatric Aide from Toledo State Hospital, Toledo, Ohio and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, McClure, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands: Elmer Yarnell and John McLaughlin; two brothers, Alva and Paul; two sisters, Goldia and Mary Ellen; and Peggy Sue, her dog she loved very much.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Swick, Delaware, Ohio and her daughters, Jean and Vicki; special nieces and nephews: Nancy Glassburn and her daughters, Debbie, Sharon, and Margie; Patty and Chuck Maugans and their children, Joe, Sherrie and Larry; two great-nieces and a great-nephew: Wanda Gardner and Linda (John) Smith, Tony Cardillo, and two very good friends, Ralph and Cindy McMillan, who were there when she needed them anytime day or night.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday November 6, 2009 in the McCoy Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Rev. Marvin Sallee officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
