Misti Ann (Brown) Pleasant

Misti Ann Pleasant, 42, South Point, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in her residence. She was born April 26, 1973 at New London, Connecticut, daughter of Harvey A. (Gayle) Brown, Bidwell, Ohio and Susan Diane Pleasant, South Point, Ohio. Misti attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Natasha Pleasant and Davon Leonard, both of South Point, Ohio; granddaughter, Aaliyah "Rosie" Pleasant, South Point; fiancé, Kennedy L. Washington, South Point; brothers: Bruce Jamison, Huntington, West Virginia; Harvey Brown II, Bidwell, Ohio and Eric Brown, Columbus, Ohio; aunts: Lisa (Glendon) Vinson, Gallipolis, Ohio; Vanessa (Kenny) Wright, Bidwell; Sheila Borden, Gallipolis; Dawne Borden, Columbus, Ohio; Donna Borden, Rio Grande, Ohio; uncle, Eddie (Tracy) Borden, Gallipolis; and a host of special friends: Mary Wright, Ironton, Ohio; Valarie Anderson, Burlington, Ohio; Connie Evans, Marjorie Payne and Gus and Linda Theviner, all of Bidwell, Ohio and The Washington Family and Friends, Owensboro, Kentucky as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

Misti was preceded in death by daughter, Sasha Pleasant; maternal and paternal grandparents and an aunt, Wendy Borden.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Bidwell, Ohio with Rev. Gene Armstrong and Rev. Phillip Armstrong, officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation and Sharing of Expressions for Misti at 11:00 AM Monday until the time of service in the church.
