Myra Lou (Kent) Shepherd

Myra Lou Shepherd, 67, Thurman, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1948 at Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Okie and Rubel (Hamilton) Kent.
Myra is survived by her husband, Johnny Shepherd, Thurman and son, Russell (Kendra) Polinsky, Gallipolis, Ohio; three daughters: Bobby (Jerry) Runyon, Syracuse, Ohio; Tammie (Brian) Polinsky, Bidwell, Ohio and Crystal (Chad) Eisnaugle, Oak Hill, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Lovel (Ben) Clay, Thurman and Brenda (Michael) Fortner, Oak Hill.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert and sisters, Gloria and Shirley as well as a great-grandson, Treven DeLong.
Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, June 5, 2015 in Little Pearl Old Regular Baptist Church, Vinton with Brothers Michael Fortner, John Paul Hamilton and Leonard Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Family Cemetery, Vinton. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis Thursday 4:00-7:00 PM.
