Nollis J. (Taylor) Edwards

Nollis J. Edwards, 90, of South Bloomfield, Ohio (formerly of Bidwell, Ohio) passed away at her home Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Nollis was born August 28, 1933, in Red Jacket, West Virginia, the daughter of Elmer and Annie (Hardesty) Taylor. She married Walter Edwards who preceded her in death October 14, 1995. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she loved playing bingo.

Nollis is survived by her children: Connie (George) Sullivan, Cleveland, Ohio; Randall (Cheryl) Edwards, Lancaster, Ohio; Gail Francis, Pomeroy, Ohio; Cheryl (Loyd) Chaffin, South Bloomfield, Ohio and Keith (Michelle) Edwards, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Tony Kennedy, Kevin Edwards, Christy Edwards, Joshua Hunter, Chelsea Smith, Ashley Puckett, Austin Edwards and Brittany Kirby as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers: Melvin Taylor, Danny (Janie) Taylor and Dale (Donna) Taylor, all of Columbus, Ohio and Donnie (Marilyn) Taylor, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by brothers Lewis Taylor and Sonny Taylor and sisters, Fay Carroll and Betty Wrinkle.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2024 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, with Pastor Danny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday 1:00-2:00 PM.
