Ollie M. "Junior" Burchett

Ollie M. "Junior" Burchett, 79, Gallipolis, passed away Wednesday March 31, 2004 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born January 24, 1926 at Gulnor, Kentucky, son of the late Ollie M. Burchett Sr. and Kentucky Endicott Burchett. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran, a retired bus driver, retiring in 1989 from the Gallipolis City Schools and a retired Dairy Farmer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Burchett, February 10, 1995.
Ollie is survived by his wife, Betty Stewart Burchett, Gallipolis, Ohio; daughter, Connie (David) Palmer, Cheshire, Ohio; step-daughter and step-son: Linda Jackson, Westland, Michigan and Eddie Stewart, Rio Grande, Ohio; grandson, Chris Palmer, Cheshire, Ohio and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 3, 2004 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis. Burial will follow in the Old Pine Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio with a flag presentation by the Gallia County Veteran Service Organizations. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday 4:00-8:00 PM.
