Otto James Wise, 65, Bidwell, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 16, 2004. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, a member of the DAV and the Countryside Baptist Church, Evergreen, Ohio.

He was born August 11, 1938, in Carrollton, Ohio, son of the late James and Minnie Wise. He married Nancy Myers November 24, 1956, at Akron, Ohio, and she survives with two sons: Thomas James (Kim) Wise, Finley, Ohio and Charles Martin Wise, Tucson, Arizona; four daughters: Mary Wise, Point Pleasant, West Virginia; Nancy Joy, Toledo, Ohio; Terry Sue (Larry) Hudson, Oregon, Ohio; and Brenda Lee Wagner, Toledo, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers: Richard (Debbie) Wise and Henry Wise, both of Akron, Ohio; and one sister: Viola Stevens, Phoenix, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by one grandson.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Monday, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, with Pastor Chuck Stansberry, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, 2:00 - 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Nancy Wise c/o McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 536, Gallipolis, Ohio 45631-0536.
