Patricia Ann (Shelton) Mccreedy
June 27, 1922 — October 7, 2007
Patricia Ann McCreedy, 85, Gallipolis fell asleep in Jesus' arms and went to be with the Lord and her loving husband of 55 years in Heaven on Sunday October 7, 2007. Patricia was born on June 27, 1922 in Princeton, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late William and Kate Worrell Shelton. She married Pierce D. McCreedy on July 29, 1942 in Gallipolis, who preceded her in February of 1997. A devoted member of Faith Baptist Church, Patricia dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.
Surviving are her four children: Diana (Bob) McDaniel, Amarillo, Texas; Ellen (Jeff) Marple, Gallipolis; William (Sandy) McCreedy, Gallipolis; and Brent(Sandra) McCreedy, Gallipolis; eight grandchildren: Michael McCreedy, Gallipolis; Stacey McCreedy, Marysville, Ohio; Amber Mills, Amarillo, Texas; Richard McCreedy, Gallipolis; Brian Kopack, Madison, Ohio; Jason Kopack, Bradenton, Florida; Alison Barry, Gallipolis; Tyler Barry, Gallipolis and four great-grandchildren: Jonas, Claudia, Marcos, and Caden.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Faith Baptist Church, Rodney, with Pastor Jeff Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis.
