Patsy Darlene (Halfhill) Thompson

Patsy Darlene Thompson, 57, Grove City, Ohio, passed away at OSU Hospitals, Columbus, Tuesday, September 26, 2007. She was born May 8, 1950 in Gallia County, daughter of Dorothy Walters Halfhill, Bidwell, and the late Stacy Kenneth Halfhill. She was a retired Registered Nurse with thirty plus years service and had attended the Grove City Church of the Nazarene.

Patsy is survived by her husband, William Thompson III, Grove City; a son, Billy Thompson, Grove City and a daughter, Stacie (Kevin Queen) Thompson, Grove City; grandson, Hayden Thompson; brothers: Kenny (Marilyn) Halfhill, Bidwell, Ohio; Lawrence (Sandy) Halfhill, Rutland, Ohio; Larry Dean Halfhill, Bidwell, Ohio; Greg Halfhill, Cheshire, Ohio and Brian (Tina) Halfhill, Bidwell, Ohio; sisters: Golda (Jerry) Smith, Bidwell, Ohio; Jonda (Larry) Ward, Bidwell, Ohio; Sharon (Jerry) Young, Rio Grande, Ohio; Sherry Mae Halfhill, Bidwell, Ohio; Teresa (Lloyd) Sears, Gallipolis, Ohio and Angie (Chris) Slone, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by a brother, Denver Halfhill and a sister, Patty Halfhill.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Morgan Center Cemetery near Vinton.
