Patsy Jeanne (Kennedy) Scott

Patsy Jeanne Scott, 73, Ashville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 28, 2013. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio December 15, 1939 to the late John (Dick) and Mary Price Kennedy. She was a Bidwell-Porter High School Graduate and worked as a secretary and later as supervisor for Buckeye Union and Continental Insurance Company for sixteen years. Patsy enjoyed crocheting, sewing and trying out new recipes. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved to watch the Buckeyes, Bengals, Reds and NASCAR.
Patsy is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Harold Lee Scott; daughter, Deirdre (Bill) Rowland, Sunbury, Ohio; granddaughters, Gianna and Briatta Rowland. Also surviving are sisters Carol (Tom) Kessel, Gallipolis, Ohio and Barbara Brown, Columbus, Ohio; brother, John (Beckie) Kennedy, Vinton, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Judy Kennedy, Porter, Ohio, Carol Ann Scott, Reynoldsburg, Ohio and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother David Kennedy and brother-in-law, Robert Brown.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Rev. Paul Voss officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 PM. In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow.
