Patty Jo (Howard) Armstrong

Patty Jo Armstrong, 73, Crown City, Ohio passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at her home. She was born August 18, 1948 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late James O. and Nellie Mae (Young) Howard. She enjoyed gardening, from which she canned her home-grown vegetables, and loved to go on walks outdoors. Patty married Robert "Bob" Armstrong in Crown City July 2, 1978, who preceded her in death December 13, 2020.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Charlton (Melissa) Armstrong and James Derek Armstrong; grandchildren: Christopher Armstrong, Kadesha Armstrong, James Armstrong and numerous others along with great-grandchildren. Also missing Patty are her siblings: Althea Howard, Peggie (Lee) Combs, Marica (David) Stroud, Charles (Yolanda) Howard, Freddie (Judy) Howard and Edward (Winnie) Howard.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by granddaughter, Brianna Jackson and brother, James Howard.

Private Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio Friday, August 12, 2022 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
