Patty Ann Jones

Patty Ann Jones, 81, of Gallipolis Ohio passed away Saturday April 18, 2026, in the Holzer Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born July 21, 1944, in Letart W.Va. daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Spellman) Rollins. Patty was a teacher at Buckeye Hills Vocational School retiring in 2010 following thirty years of service. She loved traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her very special bridge club friends. Patty was a member of Grace Methodist Church Gallipolis.

Patty married Newton I. Jones April 21, 1963, and he preceded her in death, November 16, 2011. To this union are two children left to cherish her memory, Jodi Jones Plymale, Mason, Ohio, Newt (Rena) Jones, Jr., Gallipolis, grandchildren: Nicholas Plymale, Megan Plymale, Paolo Jones, Kenjian Jones and Shawnee Jones.

In addition to her parents and husband Patty was preceded in death by three infant children.

In honoring Patty’s wishes private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel is honored to serve the Jones Family
