Paul B. Daniels

Paul B. Daniels, 89, Cheshire, Ohio passed away at his residence Friday, June 5, 2009. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and a Cartographer for the U.S. Oceanographic Office, Washington, D.C. who retired in 1971. He was a member of the River View Baptist Church, Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia and was also a faithful Red Cross Blood Donor. He was born July 7,1919 in Jerseyville, Illinois, son of the late James Brainard Daniels and the late Mabel Retteroth Daniels.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Mae Baker Daniels April 25, 2004.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters: Ronald (Wanda) Daniels, Bumpass, Virginia; Paul Bernard (Bobbi) Daniels, Bidwell, Ohio; Robin Daniels, Patriot, Ohio; Barbara (Jim) Mathews, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Teresa Daniels, Cheshire, Ohio; six grandchildren: Ronald Daniels, Virginia; Tammi Drummond, Vinton, Ohio; Kyle Mathews, Virginia Beach, Virginia; Paul David Daniels and Natasha Daniels, Bidwell, Ohio and Derek Daniels, Cheshire, Ohio; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June, 9, 2009 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Pastor Merle Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery with Graveside Military Rites Conducted by the Gallia County Veterans Service Organizations. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
