Paul Donovan Holstein

Paul D. Holstein, 39, Bidwell, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. He was born September 16, 1978 in Gallipolis, Ohio son of Sandy Caldwell Holstein, Bidwell, Ohio and the late Sam E. Holstein, who preceded him in death January 13, 2017. Paul was a 1996 River Valley High School graduate before his employment at Holzer Medical Center for 18 years. He then began employment at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington where he was currently employed. An avid outdoors man, Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Paul leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Sandy; his wife, Kimberly (Clark) Holstein, whom he married November 30, 2001 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky and their daughter, Kelsey Dawn Holstein of the home; brother, Chris Holstein, Thurman, Ohio; mother-in-law, Donna Clark, Letart, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Tammy (Larry) Snyder, Letart, West Virginia; brother-in-law, James (Tina) Clark, Bidwell, Ohio; sister-in-law Emily Clark, Gallipolis, Ohio and five nieces: Marissa Snyder, Casey (Rob) Davis, Morgan Snyder, Kristen Clark and Haley Clark and a host of family and friends.

In addition to his father, Sam, he was preceded in death by father-in-law, Tom Clark.

Visitation will be at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis Sunday 4:00-8:00 PM.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, March 12, 2018 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel with Rev. Chip Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Mercerville, Ohio.
