Paul "Jack" Meadows, 75, Gallipolis, passed away Monday April 12, 2004 at Holzer Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1928 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, son of the late Wert and Reba Stanley Meadows. He was a salesman for Evans Packing Company, where he retired after twenty five years of employment. He was a member of Morning Dawn Lodge #7, Gallipolis and an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Billy Jo Helton Meadows, whom he married on July 2, 1949 in Huntington, West Virginia. He is also survived by two daughters, Rosie (Gary) McClaskey, Vinton, Ohio and Lori (Brent) Billings, Gallipolis; four grandchildren: Tracy (Jeff) Steger, Centenary, Ohio; Christopher "Pete" McClaskey, Bidwell, Ohio (Evergreen Community); JoBeth Rothgeb, Gallipolis and Cody Billings, Gallipolis; two great-grandchildren, Brook Plantz, Centenary and Jamie Steger, Centenary; four sisters; several nieces, nephews, special friends, and the family of George E. Jones.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 15, 2004 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with the Rev. Bob Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery, Mason County, West Virginia. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
He will be sadly missed by many family and friends.
