Paul William Winston

Paul William Winston, born July 31, 1954 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Edwin and Carrie (nee Miller) Winston, departed this life January 6, 2021 at the age of sixty-six years, five months and seven days. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers: Annabelle, Amanda, Brenda, Virginia Mae, Edwin, Leo and Virgil.

Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Larry (Sue Ann) Winston, Vinton, Ohio; Stacey (Gigi) Winston, Warner Robins, Georgia; Freda Lawson, Gallipolis, Ohio and Carolyn Winston, Columbus, Ohio as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Paul was a member of Morgan Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Providence Baptist Church on Buck Ridge, where his membership is today. He attended school at Bidwell Porter and different schools in Gallipolis. He enjoyed going to church, going on trips, good food and the company of friends. His friendly smile and cheerful disposition won him many friends throughout his life.

Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family with burial to follow in Morgan Bethel Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, is honored to serve the Winston Family.
