Penny Kay (Kemper) Sager

Penny Kay Sager, 69, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away suddenly Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. Penny was the daughter of the late Mary Jo Kemper, born in Gallipolis, Ohio February 5, 1953.

An avid reader, she was a Sunday School teacher for several years. She enjoyed baking and playing with her grandchildren. She was employed by the Ohio Valley Bank, Gallipolis, Ohio for many years as well.

Penny married Craig Sager who survives along with their children: Michael (Diana) Sager and Andrew (Terri) Sager, all of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Morgan Sager, Kamerin Sager, Gabriel Sager and Maria Sager; sister, Linda (Dwayne) Beaver, Gallipolis and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, September 8, 2022 in Grace United Methodist Church, 600 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Kandy Nuce officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Crown City, Ohio. Family and Friends may call at the church Thursday 11:00 AM to the Noon service time. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, is honored to serve the Sager Family.
