Phyllis Rae (Campbell) Bickle

Phyllis Rae Bickle, 71, Rio Grande, Ohio passed away surrounded by her loving family Saturday, January 19, 2019 at her residence. She retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center in 2013. Phyllis was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her family and cherished every moment with them. She had a gentle caring personality and blessed every life she touched.

She  was born September 27, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Cephus James Campbell and Fostoria Rose (Huffman) Campbell. She married Danna R. Bickle November 27, 1971 in Franklin County, Ohio and he survives with two sons and two daughters: Dana (Rebecca) Bickle, Proctorville, Ohio; Gregory (Lisa Tagg) Bickle, Vinton, Ohio: Elizabeth (Jim Green) Taylor, Inverness, Florida and Lisa R. (Paul) Lee, Rio Grande, Ohio. She is survived by nine grandchildren: Michael Todd (Brittany) Bickle, Rio Grande, Ohio; Kayla (Larry) Phillips, Elkview, West Virginia; Bradley (Erin) Taylor, Leon, West Virginia; David Taylor, Pomeroy, Ohio; Devin Walker Lee and Gracie Lee, Rio Grande, Ohio; Christopher J. Tagg, Gallipolis, Ohio; Hannah Tagg and Chloe Tagg, Vinton, Ohio.

Also surviving are ten great-grandchildren: Ace, Kylie, Levi, Colton, Cassidee, Landen, Briar, Kade, Makenzie and Bryce; brother, Dwight (Jennifer) Campbell, Vinton, Ohio; aunt, Lynn Coleman, Pikeville, Kentucky; brother-in-law, Joe Justice, Vinton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Betty Campbell, Gallipolis, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by grandson, Dana Lee Bickle; brothers, James "Billy" Campbell, Michael Wayne Campbell and sisters, Audrey Drosos, Janice Sue Stone and Emogene Justice.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Brothers Kenny Newsome and Johnny Thornsberry officiating. Burial will follow in Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Tuesday, January 22, 2019 6:00–8:00 PM.
