Phyllis Ann McCarley Hash, 79, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at The Overbrook Center, Middleport, Ohio. She was born September 25, 1933 in Ewington, Ohio daughter of the late John Harry and Lola May Sprouse McCarley. Phyllis married James Leonard Hash May 8, 1954 in the Danville Pilgrim Parsonage, who preceded her in death December 5, 1992. She was a member of Vinton Baptist Church and also served as Morgan Township Clerk for more than 20 years.
Phyllis is survived by two sons: Jeffrey (Dee) Hash, James S. (Cindy) Hash and one daughter Kimberly J. (Jimmy) Bush, all of Bidwell, Ohio; eight grandchildren: Heidi Hash, Holly (Curtis) Cook, Erin Kemper, Roger (April) Bush, Jill (Nick) Hopkins, Britani Hash, Tanya Sutphin, Brynn (Jenny) Sutphin; thirteen great-grandchildren: Taylor Queen, Rylan Armstrong, Cassie, Caylen and CJ Cook; Kylee and Kennedy Kemper; Johnny and Rowan Holsinger; Avery King, Maddox George, Lexi Sutphin and Kennedy Perry. Also surviving are brother, Walter McCarley and brother-in-law, Martin (Judy) Hash.
In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by three brothers: Lowell, Joe and Clair McCarley and three sisters: Fern Moore, Dorothy Oiler and Mildred Roberts.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, July 29, 2013 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Marvin Sallee, officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery, Bidwell, Ohio. Friends may call the funeral home Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
