Ray Otis Moore, 98, Vinton, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his residence.  He was born January 29, 1918 in Pliney, West Virginia to the late Lee Albert and Victoria Moore. He was a World War II United States Navy Veteran and a Member of Three C's.

He is survived by his children:  Ray (Lawana) Moore, Vinton, Ohio; Naomi V. (Jay) Queen, Delaware, Ohio; Shirley S. (Steven) Draper, Nevada and George W. (Shelia) Moore, Jackson, Ohio; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; special little girl, Khloe Kirby, Allensville, Ohio; brother, Howard (Jewell) Moore, Rodney, Ohio; sisters, Dora Peters, Pennsylvania and Kay Brewer, Gahanna, Ohio.

In addition to his parents and wife, Rebecca Naomi Moore, he was preceded in death by brothers, Sam, Earl and Leonard Moore and sisters, Sally Moore, Ruth Sailer, and Violet Moore.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Rio Grande, Ohio.  Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by Vinton American Legion Post #161. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service Tuesday.
