Rebecca Gayle "Becky" Holcomb, 53, Vinton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 22, 1957, daughter of the late Grover and Imogene Layton Baber. She was formerly employed as a laborer in manufacturing and a homemaker.
Becky is survived by her husband, Gene Holcomb, Vinton; three daughters, Jaunita Gayle (Matt) Webb, Sardina, Ohio; Yolanda Dawn Salem, McDermott, Ohio and Robin White, Vinton; two stepsons: Grover Shannon (Jodi) Holcomb, Milton, West Virginia and Justin E. Holcomb, San Diego, California; six grandsons, six granddaughters; one brother, Grover Nelson Baber, Fairplay, South Carolina, and one sister, Joyce Jaunita (Lee) Varney, McDermott, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by a brother, William Franklin Baber.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2011 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton with Rev. Denver McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, March 9 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
