Rebecca D. "Janie" (Roberts) Merry

Rebecca D. "Janie" Merry, 74, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in the Overbrook Rehabilitation Center, Middleport, Ohio. She was born July 27, 1945 in Bidwell, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl and Christmas "Sadie" (Pelfrey) Roberts.

Janie is survived by daughters, Brenda Logue and Lori Axline Bryant, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Robert (Lauren) Elliott, Cincinnati, Ohio; Brittany (Andrew) Bobo, Jackson, Ohio and Brooklyn Bryant, Gallipolis, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Gabe and Benjamin Elliott and Olivia Bobo and siblings: Helen (Don) Copeland, Abbeville, Alabama; Carl Roberts, Rex Roberts and Katherine Roberts Friend, all of Bidwell, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Christina Elliott; grandson, Matthew Elliott and siblings: Melvin Roberts, Maxie Roberts and Charles Roberts; former husband, Jesse Merry and son-in-law, Steve Bryant.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2020 in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis, Ohio. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation. The McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio is honored to serve the Merry Family during this difficult time.
