Reva M. Johnson Brown, 83, Vinton, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Ohio State University Hospitals, Columbus, Ohio following a brief illness. She was a loving wife and mother who treasured her family and friends. She was born April 14, 1931 at Pomeroy, Ohio, daughter of the late Martin and Zona (Carpenter) Mollohan.
Reva is survived by husband, Wendell Brown and her children: Mike (Ann) Johnson and Sis Vickers, all of Vinton; two grandchildren: Michael (Jessica) Johnson, McArthur, Ohio and Eddie Lee (Tink) Shepherd, Wilkesville, Ohio; step-son, Chuck (Rita) Brown, Wilkesville; step-daughter, Donnie Jean Brown, Columbus, Ohio; two step-grandchildren: Tim (Julie) Staley, Frisco, Texas and Gary (Leese) Staley, Plano, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; brothers: Buck (Betty) Mollohan, Vickmore, West Virginia and Dewey (Betty) Mollohan, Kalamazoo, Michigan; sister, Opal Hardesty, Richmondale, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Estil Johnson, 1995, one brother and eight sisters.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio is honored to serve the Brown Family.
