Rhoda (Curry) Knox

Rhoda Knox, 95, Vinton, Ohio passed away Friday, January 31, 2003 at Holzer Senior Care, Bidwell, Ohio. She was born August 23, 1907 in Holden, West Virginia, daughter of the late Jeff and Victoria Blankenship Curry. She married Ben Knox on May 8, 1932 and he preceded her in death November 21, 1995. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Levie and Lenard Curry and four sisters: Hester Brooks, Ada Adkins, Stella Marten and Margie Curry. She attended Poplar Ridge Church.
Rhoda is survived by four brothers: Leslie Curry, Bidwell, Ohio; Oakley Curry, Vinton, Ohio; Charles Curry, Bidwell, Ohio and Don Curry, Bidwell, Ohio; two sisters, Juanita Hamilton, Connersville, Indiana and Eileen Ferrell, Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2003 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, with Rev. Paul Farley officiating. Burial will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 6:00-8:00 PM.
