Richard Allen Hill

Richard Allen Hill, 60, Bidwell, Ohio died at his residence Friday, November 29, 2019 after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Homer and Ethel Fae (DeVault) Hill, Jr., born June 13, 1959 at Centerville, Ohio. Richard attended Vinton Baptist Church and was an avid NASCAR Fan who enjoyed fishing and yardwork – which was his way of relaxing.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Deborah (Campbell) Hill, who he married April 14, 1979 and their daughters: Susan Hill and Shari Hill, both of Bidwell, Ohio; grandchildren: Alexis Hurt, Mariah Hurt, LaRon Darryn Garnes and Lyvia Garnes, all of Bidwell and siblings: Wanda Neal, Henderson, West Virginia; Ronald (Risa) Hill, Gallipolis, Ohio; Kenny (Debbie) Hill, Bidwell and Terry (Paula) Hill, Vinton, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shelly (Tim) Angel, Crown City, Ohio and Joy (James) Dotson, Foley, Alabama as well as a host of family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Pelfrey and brothers, David Hill and Thomas Hill and special loved one, son-in-law LaRon Garnes.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in the Vinton Baptist Church, Vinton, Ohio with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Gallipolis, Ohio. Friends and Family may call at the church Monday 5:00-7:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Hill Family in their time of need.
