Richard Lee "Rick" Johnston, 58, Wilkesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Jackson, Ohio. He was born November 6, 1958 in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Truman H. and Freda Lee Christian Johnston. He was a member of Joseph Freeman American Legion Post #476.
Rick is survived by his wife, Robin Ousley Johnston and children: Rita Johnston, Austin, Texas; Beth Johnston Roman, Athens, Ohio; Jennifer Johnston Schultz, Hollywood, California; Michael Johnston and Hannah Johnston, both of Wilkesville, Ohio; grandchildren: Maddox Nobles, Madisyn Hughes, Nola Thielman, Layla Johnston, Eli Schultz, Kaisen Johnston and Kinsley Kendall; sisters: Teresa (Rocky) Davidson, Wilkesville, Ohio; Donna (Dan) Mollohan, Kalamazoo, Michigan; Lisa (Deane) Cole, Buckeye Lake, Ohio; Tammy (Jerry Hively) Smith, Jackson, Ohio and brother, Truman Johnston, Jr., Gallipolis, Ohio.
In addition to his parents Rick was preceded by a niece, Kelly Cole.
A Memorial service will be conducted by the family at a later date. According to his wishes, cremation services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton, Ohio.
