Rilla J. (Hatfield) Luckadoo

Rilla J. Luckadoo, 86, Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at Holzer Medical Center Friday, October 15, 2004. She was born August 8, 1918 at Miller, Ohio, daughter of the late Alfred and Jennie Strickland Hatfield. Mrs. Luckadoo was a homemaker and was employed for five years at G.S.I., Gallipolis. She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, Bidwell Ohio, and had also attended various churches throughout Gallia County.
She is survived by two daughters: Mary Evans, Gallipolis and Anna (James) Mink, Gallipolis; brother, George Hatfield, Fostoria, Ohio; sister, Faye Hanley, Fostoria, Ohio; three grandchildren: Jamey Eachus, Gallipolis; Teresa Salcedo, Gallipolis; and Cheryl Caudill, Addison, Ohio; four great-grandchildren: Craig Kingery, Kenneth and Colby Caudill and Eric Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kerr L. Luckadoo in 1979, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Private Graveside services will follow in the Vinton Memorial Park, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 6:00-8:00 PM.
