Rita M. Payne

Rita M. "Booch" Payne, 47, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2007 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was born February 7, 1961, daughter of Mary Irene Lawson Payne of Bidwell and the late Harley Austin Payne.
Along with her mother, she is also survived by four brothers: Robert (Shannon) Lawson, Portsmouth, Ohio; Wendell (Brenda) Payne, Bidwell, Ohio; Gene Payne, Cheshire, Ohio and Keith Payne, Gallipolis, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Patricia (James) Sammons and children, Isaiah and Kiana, London, Ohio; Kevin Payne, Columbus, Ohio; step-niece, Lauren Mollohan, Gallipolis, Ohio; Robert Lawson Jr., James Lawson, and Michael Lawson, Portsmouth, Ohio; Jonathan Payne and son, Kaden Michael, Gallipolis, Ohio; Julia Payne, Gallipolis, Ohio; Sammy Payne, Gallipolis and Dorothy Payne and children, Quinton and Kaleigh, Bidwell, Ohio.
She was preceded by her brother, Tommy Payne and sister-in-law, Rita Mae Payne.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, February 29, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 14628 SR 554, Bidwell with Rev. Gene Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Pine St. Cemetery, Gallipolis. Friends may call at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
