Robert C. "Bob" Baylor

Robert C. "Bob" Baylor, 68, Zanesville, Ohio (formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio) passed away July 11, 2004, as the result of an all-terrain vehicle accident. Employed as a lifetime construction worker, he was actively involved with the Masonic Lodge, Zanesville, Ohio, was a member of the Church of Christ, Zanesville, and regularly attended the First Church of the Nazarene, Gallipolis, Ohio. Born November 11, 1935 at Bainbridge, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leonard C. And Bertha Carmen Baylor.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Baylor, Zanesville; sons: Kenny Baylor, Gallipolis, Ohio; Wendell (Linda) Baylor, Gallipolis, Ohio and Ralph Baylor, Greenville, South Carolina and daughter, Cathy (Bruce) Gilmore, Gallipolis, Ohio; step-daughter, Pam Bookman and step-sons, Steve and Troy Chesser; grandchildren: Ryan Baylor, Bradley and Ashley Baylor, Carissa and Jacob Gilmore; sister, MaDora (John) Wildman, Buckhannon, West Virginia and nephew, Eddie Wildman.

He was preceded in death by step-daughter Chris Wallace.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, 420 First Ave, Gallipolis with Pastor Robert Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Reynolds Cemetery, Addison, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday July 14, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the East Forty Church of Christ, 7522 East Pike, Norwich, Ohio.
