Robert D. "Bob" DeCara, 17, Port St. Lucie, Florida (formerly of Bidwell) died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 in Port Lucie. He was born at Mather Air Force Base, California and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past three years, coming from Bidwell, Ohio. He was a senior and a student at Fort Pierce Central High School.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Robert D. "Bob" Laywell.
Survivors include his father Duane C. DeCara, Port St. Lucie, Florida and his mother, Sandra K. Laywell, Texas; sister, Heaven Laywell, Texas; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Frances "Dolly" DeCara, Sr., Port St. Lucie and maternal grandmother, Anita Laywell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
Calling hours will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, October 15 at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, 208 Main St, Vinton, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Laywell Family Cemetery in Bidwell, Ohio. Friends may call at the Vinton Chapel Tuesday, October 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
