Robert L. "Bob" Thomas

Robert L. "Bob" Thomas, 82, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away April 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 4, 1931 in South Vienna, Ohio, son of the late Orville and Minerva (Arnold) Thomas. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the Gallia Cornerstone Church, Bidwell, Ohio.
Bob will be sadly missed by his wife, Joyce Thomas; children, Debbie (Ronald E.) Smith and Eric L. Thomas, all of Gallipolis; grandchildren: Amber and Nick Smith; Olivia, Zachary, Taylor and Abigail Thomas; four great-grandchildren: Ty, Kenyon, Neveah and Kaylee; nephews: Danny Thomas, Indiana; Bob (Tina) Thomas, Cincinnati, Ohio; James (Ann) Riedel, South Carolina and Mike Riedel, Palm Harbor, Florida; nieces: Barbara Mellott, Leesburg, Florida and Joyce (Sam) Moore, Springfield, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Lyndall (Jim) Riedel, Leesburg, Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, May 3, 2013 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Isaac Shupe officiating. Entombment will follow in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens, Gallipolis. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday, 6:00-8:00 PM.
