Robert Lewis "Bob" Walton, 57, Vinton, passed away Monday, September 29, 2008, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He was born October 26, 1950 in Columbus, Ohio, son of Alvin and Elizabeth Swisher Walton.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary (Shane) Eagle, Pomeroy; sister, Mary Marcum, Bidwell; three brothers: Raymond (Linda) Walton, Westerville, Ohio; Daniel Walton, Vinton; and Charles (Sally) Walton, Vinton, Ohio; and four grandchildren: Allison, Shane, Jessie, and Bethany.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ann Walton and brother, James Walton.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 2, 2008 with Pastor Paul Ring officiating at McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel, 208 Main St, Vinton, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
